Happy January good people!
I am so thankful for yet another year. Another opportunity to be great and to do big things. And with that said, I know y’all are wondering where I’ve been and why I haven posted a new recipe in like a month. Well let me tell you: I set a goal for 2018 to be the year that I get my butt in gear and lose this extra weight! And y’all it’s been rough starting out the gate.
Been battling a cold being passed back and forth between my baby boy and me since Christmas. But I’ve been pressing in and pressing on. I joined the Pinch of Yum a no sugar for the month of January and have been posting my progress over on my Instagram. I started working out but had to put it on pause for about two weeks because I was sick. I still managed to lose 5 whole pounds! Whoot!
I’ve also been creating some seriously delicious lightened up recipes that I cannot wait to share with y’all. I just haven’t been able to devote much time to photographing and posting them on the blog. However, if the Lord God be willing, I promise to share them within the next couple of weeks. Just hang in there with me 👏🏾.

You might be asking what this fit for Forty business is all about. Well, simply put, I want to lose over 100 pounds by my 40th birthday. I’m am 38 years and 9 month old to-date. My birthday being April 14th give me a little over a year to achieve this goal. So, support an encouragement is definitely needed and appreciated. Hit me up on Instagram with a like and a shout out!
