  • 1 1/2 c hot sauce favorite brand
  • 1/4 c seasoned rice vinegar
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch dissolve in 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne more or less as desired


  • In a saucepan over medium melt butter then add the spices and hot sauce whisk until smooth. Pour in vinegar and dissolved cornstarch and whisk again.
  • Allow the sauce to bubble for 3-4 minutes over medium-low heat. The sauce should be a little glossy and only slightly thick.
