Preheat the oven to 325°. Mix the baking soda and the yogurt in a small bowl and set it aside. In a large bowl whisk together the flour, both sugars, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
To the dry mix, add the eggs, canola oil, yogurt, followed by the apple cider. Beat until smooth but don’t over mix.
Pour the batter into a prepared 9x5 loaf pan. Bake 1 hour or until the center comes out clean using a toothpick. Check for doneness at the 45-minute mark and every 5 minutes after until it’s done.
