Brown Butter Sweet Carrots — steamed carrots sautéed in nutty brown butter with a sprinkle of brown sugar.

sliced carrots
defrosted according to package

salted butter

tbsp
brown sugar
1/4
tsp
kosher salt
or less to taste
Instructions
Defrost the carrots according to the package directions. In a skillet, heat the butter over lowish-medium heat until the butter turns golden brown*.
Immediately add the carrot , a pinch of kosher salt and the brown sugar.
Toss to coat and allow the carrots to cook for 5 minutes or so for the sugar to melt and coats the carrots.
