The flour and baking soda are even added directly to the batter without having to premix in a separate bowl. And no need to break out the mixer. Take it to the old school with a simple dinner fork to blend. It’s a light night snack attack dream!

- 1 1/3 c all purpose flour
- 3/4 c butter melted
- 3/4 c chocolate chips
- 1/2 c light brown sugar
- 1/3 c dark brown sugar
- 1 lg egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- In a mixing bowl add melted butter and both sugars, beat together until smooth. Add the egg, vanilla, and salt and whisk until smooth. Follow with the chocolate chips. Sprinkle the flour over the top of the batter then the baking soda and fold it in well forming a dough. Drop spoonfuls of dough into a cookies sheet and bake for 11 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven. Makes about 2 dozen.
