You will love the taste of this habanero infused honey on everything from toast to wings. Even in baked goods. The added heat compliments the sweet golden goodness.
Chili infused honey can transform any dish next level great. It adds sweetness and heat all in one golden drizzle. I chose habanero peppers because it’s the hottest pepper with the lest overpowering taste in my opinion. I really like Serrano peppers but the flavor is very distinct. So much so, that I can tell that it’s in sauces. That’s why I decided that habanero was the way to go. It has a nice fruity flavor that blends right into the honey. You end up with honey and heat.
The preparation method I chose was simply to seep the peppers for a while and remove them when I was ready to use it. I store in the fridge because I use fresh peppers. If you use dried peppers it will last as long as honey lasts basically. But if you use fresh peppers, I suggest that you do, it will need to be refrigerated unless you want to heat it to a proper temperature. You can read more about that in this article.
