To properly cut a watermelon you need a sharp knife, dry clothes, and a firm secure cutting surface. This guide will help you with basic cutting techniques for watermelon steak, spears, and cubes.
- Clean the melon
Start by wiping the outer surface of the Mekong with a damp cloth. Really focus on any grooves or dents that might be packed with dirt.
- Cut the ends
Place the melon on a sturdy surface like a dry towel over a cutting board. Next, cut off both end with a sharp chefs knife. This will give the melon stability when cutting off the rind. I
