Mixed berry cheesecake smoothie is a yummy skinny dessert drink. Amazing rich-tasting creaminess with less guilt.
Who doesn’t love a creamy delicious dessert every now and then? This mixed berry cheesecake smoothie is like a dessert but with less guilt. This is the third recipe in a skinny dessert smoothie series I’ve been working on. You definitely want to try my Skinny Lemon Pie Smoothie and Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie. They are created with fewer calories than the actual dessert counterpart.
Skinny mixed berry cheesecake smoothie ingredients
Frozen berries– I’m using a mix of strawberries and blueberries but if you like other berries add them.
Cottage cheese– You may use whatever fat percentage that you prefer but I typically go for reduced fat.
Sweetener– Stevia blend is my go-to but a little honey won’t break the calorie bank if you choose to use it.
Almond milk– Unsweetened vanilla or plain works.
Blender
How to make a mixed berry cheesecake smoothie
Add the berries, almond milk, cottage cheese, and sweetener of choice into a blender and blend until smooth!
Alternative ingredient options and add-ins
Yogurt– Exchange the cottage cheese for yogurt if you don’t care for it or mix it up with the fruit.
Fruit– Try it with pineapple or banana or both!
Add-ins– Graham cracker crumbs are always a welcomed addition to dessert smoothies. Nuts, seeds, whipped cream, cookie butter; there are so many possibilities!
