This Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing is far better than any store brand dressing hands down. It’s flavored throughout with the pungent blue cheese and balanced out with sharpness from the white onion and white wine vinegar. Use this tasty dressing for the absolute best Buffalo Wings or a worthy Cobb Salad.

Some of the most common are types are Gorgonzola, Roquefort, and Stilton which are all made outside of the US. They are each great for different recipes for different reasons but there are a cheese brands made in the US that are just as great.

The brand of blue cheese that I use is made in Wisconsin. is labeled as smooth and creamy with a subtle tanginess which is why I love it in this dressing. It’s not as harsh as some blue cheeses can be. This particular brand is perfect for recipes like Blue Cheese Butter for a pan-seared steak, a pungent Potato Salad, and a delicious Blue Cheese Dip.
